Bloodtears: Sinner's Redemption is a standalone grimdark solo journaling RPG, played in real-world time across a cursed span of 260 minutes. 

While fully playable with no writing at all, Bloodtears is built to be written —in ash, ink, or grief.  

It invites you to embody a fallen soul, marked by sin, burdened with ritual, and driven by a fragile hope of redemption.

You do not level up. You do not escape. You walk forward, write, and endure.

• One Sinner, One Session — Create a character in minutes and set out on a single-session pilgrimage. All tools are included —no external systems required.

• The Toll of the Bell — Every 13 minutes, the Bell rings. With each toll, a new affliction, memory, or curse falls upon you. The clock is merciless.

• Rituals and Remembrance — Through three escalating Trials and a final Ritual of Absolution, your fate is sealed not by victory —but by what you’re willing to sacrifice.

• The Botafumeiro System — Your sacred weapon, censer, or relic doubles as your combat and moral anchor. Combat is brutal, fast, and symbolic.

• Journaling Integration — While not required, journaling elevates Bloodtears to its full narrative potential. Prompts are woven throughout every location. Time spent writing does not count against the Bell.

• 20 Damned Locations — Explore the ruined geography of the soul, from the Bleeding Woods to the Alchemist’s Tower. Every location includes thematic prompts, dangers, and rewards.

• Difficulty Modes — Standard and Eased modes allow you to adjust mechanical severity without losing atmosphere.

• Repetition Has a Price — When the Bell tolls the same number more than once, the punishment deepens —until even time itself begins to fracture.
